CVE-2025-20241 is a denial-of-service vulnerability in the IS-IS feature of Cisco NX-OS Software affecting Nexus 3000 and 9000 Series Switches. An unauthenticated, adjacent attacker can exploit insufficient input validation by sending a crafted IS-IS packet, causing the IS-IS process to restart and potentially reloading the device. Rated 7.4 HIGH (CVSS:3.1/AV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:N/I:N/A:H), this vulnerability requires Layer 2 adjacency for exploitation. Currently, there is no public exploit code, active exploitation, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
