CVE-2025-1692 describes a control character injection vulnerability in MongoDB Shell (mongosh) versions prior to 2.3.9. An attacker can exploit this by manipulating a user's clipboard with malicious code obfuscated by control characters, leading to arbitrary code execution when pasted into mongosh.
