CVE-2025-1526 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the DethemeKit for Elementor plugin for WordPress, specifically within the De Product Display Widget's countdown feature, in versions up to and including 2.1.9. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.4) allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious web scripts into pages due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. When a user views an affected page, the injected script will execute, potentially leading to client-side attacks.
