CVE-2025-15257 describes a critical command injection vulnerability in the web-based configuration interface of Edimax BR-6208AC 1.02/1.03 routers, specifically within the formRoute function of the /gogorm/formRoute file. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by manipulating the strIp, strMask, or strGateway arguments. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no authentication required, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While an exploit has been publicly released, the affected product has reached End-of-Life (EOL) and will not receive patches, necessitating an upgrade to a newer, supported model.
