CVE-2024-8962 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WPBITS Addons For Elementor Page Builder plugin for WordPress, versions up to and including 1.5.2. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.4) allows authenticated attackers with Author-level access to inject malicious web scripts via SVG file uploads, which execute when a user accesses the affected SVG. While the vulnerability requires user interaction and authentication, it could lead to client-side attacks.
