CVE-2024-8032 describes a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the Smooth Gallery Replacement WordPress plugin up to version 1.0. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to trick a logged-in administrator into adding Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) payloads due to a lack of CSRF checks, sanitization, and escaping. Rated 6.1 MEDIUM on the CVSS scale, this vulnerability requires user interaction (UI:R) and has a low impact on confidentiality and integrity (C:L/I:L). The attack vector is network-based (AV:N) with low attack complexity (AC:L).
