CVE-2024-7781 is a critical authentication bypass vulnerability affecting the Jupiter X Core plugin for WordPress, specifically versions up to and including 4.7.5. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to log in as the first user who utilized social media login, including administrator accounts, even if the social login feature is currently disabled. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While a partial patch was released in version 4.7.5 and a full patch in 4.7.8, there is currently no public exploit code, active exploitation, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
