CVE-2024-7626 affects the WP Delicious – Recipe Plugin for Food Bloggers (formerly Delicious Recipes) for WordPress, specifically versions up to and including 1.6.9. This high-severity vulnerability (CVSS 8.1) allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access to move and read arbitrary files on the server due to insufficient file path validation. This can lead to remote code execution by moving critical files like wp-config.php, or the disclosure of sensitive information through arbitrary file reading. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
