CVE-2024-7434 is a PHP Object Injection vulnerability affecting all versions of the UltraPress WordPress theme up to and including 1.2.1. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject PHP objects through deserialization of untrusted input. While no inherent POP chain exists within UltraPress, the presence of one in another plugin or theme on the system could lead to arbitrary file deletion, sensitive data retrieval, or remote code execution, resulting in a high CVSS score of 8.8. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
