CVE-2024-6864 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WP Last Modified Info plugin for WordPress, versions up to and including 1.9.0. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious web scripts into pages via the 'template' attribute of the lmt-post-modified-info shortcode due to insufficient input sanitization. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.4) allows for client-side script execution when a user views an affected page, potentially leading to information disclosure or defacement.
