CVE-2024-6347 describes two vulnerabilities in the Blind Spot Detection Sensor ECU firmware of the 2022 Nissan Altima. Attackers can trigger a denial-of-service by accessing an unprotected privileged mode through a UDS session, or disrupt normal ECU operations by sending control commands without authentication due to a lack of preconditions. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.5) requires adjacent network access and has a high impact on availability, but no impact on confidentiality or integrity. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion regarding this CVE.
