CVE-2024-5605 is a high-severity time-based SQL injection vulnerability affecting the Media Library Assistant plugin for WordPress, versions up to and including 3.16. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this flaw via the 'order' parameter in the mla_tag_cloud shortcode to extract sensitive database information. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and improper SQL query preparation.
