CVE-2024-50596 is an integer underflow vulnerability in the HTTP server PUT request functionality of STMicroelectronics X-CUBE-AZRTOS-WL 2.0.0 and other X-CUBE-AZRTOS products. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted network packet, leading to a denial-of-service condition. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction required, resulting in high availability impact. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, publicly available exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
