CVE-2024-47497 is an Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in the http daemon of Juniper Networks Junos OS, affecting SRX, QFX, MX, and EX Series devices. An unauthenticated attacker can send specific HTTPS requests, causing processes to accumulate and exhaust system resources, leading to a Denial-of-Service (DoS) and device crash. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction required.
