CVE-2024-42474 is a path traversal vulnerability affecting Streamlit applications hosted on Windows, specifically when the static file sharing feature is enabled. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.5) allows an authenticated attacker to remotely leak the password hash of the Windows user running Streamlit, with low attack complexity and no user interaction required.
