CVE-2024-40125 is a critical arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the Media Manager function of Closed-Loop Technology CLESS Server v4.5.2. Attackers can exploit this by uploading a crafted PHP file to the upload endpoint, leading to arbitrary code execution. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction or privileges required, allowing for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
