CVE-2024-39531 is an Improper Handling of Values vulnerability in the Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE) of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved on ACX 7000 Series devices. This flaw allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS) by manipulating DDoS bandwidth or burst parameters, inadvertently affecting other protocols sharing the same queue. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), the vulnerability has a low attack complexity and can lead to a complete loss of availability.
