CVE-2024-3700 describes a critical vulnerability in all versions of the Estomed Sp. z o.o. Simple Care software, which is no longer supported. The flaw stems from the use of a hard-coded password for the patients' database, identical across all installations, allowing unauthorized access to sensitive patient data. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
