CVE-2024-34057 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting Triangle Microworks TMW IEC 61850 Client source code libraries prior to version 12.2.0, as well as Siemens products utilizing these libraries. This flaw, rated 7.5 HIGH, allows an unauthenticated attacker to remotely trigger a denial of service by sending specially crafted messages, leading to system crashes. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, publicly available exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
