CVE-2024-33669 affects Passbolt Browser Extension versions prior to 4.6.2, where it inadvertently sends multiple requests to HaveIBeenPwned while a user types a password. This information leak allows an attacker observing Passbolt's HTTPS traffic to the Pwned Password API to more easily brute-force manually entered passwords. Rated 6.8 MEDIUM on CVSS, the vulnerability has a high confidentiality impact with a network attack vector and high attack complexity.
