CVE-2024-31475 is an arbitrary file deletion vulnerability in the Central Communications service of Aruba and HP ArubaOS and InstantOS. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to remotely delete arbitrary files on affected Access Points, potentially disrupting normal operation and compromising system integrity. With a CVSS score of 8.2 (HIGH), it is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to high availability impact. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
