CVE-2024-25650 describes an insecure key exchange vulnerability in Delinea PAM Secret Server 11.4 and Distributed Engine 8.4.3. A PAM administrator can exploit this flaw by crafting specific API requests to obtain the symmetric key used for RabbitMQ message encryption. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.9) allows an attacker to impersonate the Engine, exfiltrate sensitive information from RabbitMQ messages, and bypass auditing. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
