CVE-2024-25624 is a Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) vulnerability affecting Iris, a web collaborative platform for incident responders. This flaw, stemming from an improper Jinja2 environment setup, allows for arbitrary Remote Code Execution. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 6.8 (Medium) and requires an authenticated administrator to upload a crafted report template. Once weaponized, any user generating a report based on that template can trigger the RCE, leading to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
