CVE-2024-24824 is a critical vulnerability affecting Graylog versions 2.0.0 through 5.1.10 and 5.2.3. It allows authenticated attackers with appropriate permissions to achieve arbitrary code execution or information exposure by instantiating arbitrary classes via a crafted HTTP PUT request to the /api/system/cluster_config/ endpoint. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), this vulnerability presents a significant risk due to its low attack complexity and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
