CVE-2024-2346 is an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability affecting all versions up to and including 5.6.3 of the FileBird – WordPress Media Library Folders & File Manager plugin. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with author-level access or higher to delete folders created by other users, consequently exposing their file uploads. Rated 5.4 MEDIUM, the vulnerability has a network attack vector and low attack complexity, but its impact is limited to low confidentiality and integrity. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, no public exploit code available (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), and minimal community discussion or media coverage.
