CVE-2024-23316 is a high-severity HTTP request desynchronization vulnerability affecting all versions of Ping Identity PingAccess prior to 8.0.1. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted HTTP headers to create a request smuggling condition for proxied requests, potentially leading to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While the attack complexity is low, requiring user interaction, there is currently no public exploit code available, and the vulnerability has not seen active exploitation or significant community discussion.
