CVE-2024-22876 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting StrangeBee TheHive versions 5.1.0-5.1.9 and 5.2.0-5.2.8. An authenticated attacker can upload a malicious HTML file as a case attachment, which, when accessed via a specific URL, executes JavaScript code within the victim's browser context. This medium-severity flaw (CVSS 5.4) could lead to unauthorized actions, such as privilege escalation, by coercing a victim account.
