CVE-2024-2223 is a critical Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the Bitdefender GravityZone Update Server, stemming from an incorrect regular expression. This flaw impacts Bitdefender Endpoint Security for Linux (v7.0.5.200089), Bitdefender Endpoint Security for Windows (v7.9.9.380), and GravityZone Control Center (On-Premises v6.36.1), allowing an unauthenticated attacker to reconfigure the relay. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
