CVE-2024-20470 is a high-severity vulnerability (CVSS 7.2) affecting Cisco Small Business RV340, RV340W, RV345, and RV345P Dual WAN Gigabit VPN Routers. It allows an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code as the root user due to insufficient input validation in the web-based management interface. Exploitation requires valid administrator credentials and involves sending crafted HTTP input. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion.
