CVE-2024-1504 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting all versions of the SecuPress Free — WordPress Security plugin up to and including 2.2.5.1. This flaw stems from inadequate nonce validation within the secupress_blackhole_ban_ip() function. An unauthenticated attacker could exploit this by tricking a user into clicking a malicious link, leading to the blocking of that user's IP address. Rated with a CVSS score of 4.3 (Medium), this vulnerability has a low impact (I:L) and requires user interaction (UI:R) for successful exploitation.
