CVE-2024-1447 describes a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Sydney Toolbox plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to and including 1.25. This flaw, rated Medium severity (CVSS 5.4), allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher to inject malicious web scripts through the aThemes Slider button element due to insufficient input sanitization. When a user accesses an affected page, these scripts will execute, potentially leading to client-side attacks.
