CVE-2024-13409 is a Local File Inclusion vulnerability affecting the Post Grid, Slider & Carousel Ultimate WordPress plugin, versions up to and including 1.6.10. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can exploit this flaw by manipulating the 'theme' parameter in the post_type_ajax_handler() function. This allows for the inclusion and execution of arbitrary files, potentially leading to PHP code execution, bypass of access controls, or sensitive data exposure. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 8.8 (High) due to its low attack complexity and significant impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
