CVE-2024-1335 describes a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in all versions up to and including 3.1.13 of the ImageRecycle pdf & image compression plugin for WordPress. This flaw stems from inadequate nonce validation, allowing unauthenticated attackers to disable image optimization settings if they can trick a site administrator into clicking a malicious link. Rated 4.3 MEDIUM on the CVSS scale, this vulnerability has a network attack vector and low attack complexity, but requires user interaction and only impacts integrity.
