CVE-2024-1335 describes a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in all versions up to and including 3.1.13 of the ImageRecycle pdf & image compression plugin for WordPress. This flaw stems from inadequate nonce validation, allowing unauthenticated attackers to disable image optimization settings if they can trick a site administrator into clicking a malicious link. Rated 4.3 MEDIUM on the CVSS scale, this vulnerability has a network attack vector and low attack complexity, but requires user interaction and only impacts integrity. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
