CVE-2024-1334 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting all versions up to and including 3.1.13 of the ImageRecycle pdf & image compression plugin for WordPress. This flaw stems from inadequate nonce validation within the enableOptimization function. An unauthenticated attacker could exploit this by tricking a site administrator into clicking a malicious link, thereby enabling image optimization through a forged request. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 4.3 (Medium) with a low impact on integrity and no impact on confidentiality or availability.
