CVE-2024-13336

15
FAUCET Score

CVE-2024-13336 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting all versions up to and including 1.4 of the Disable Auto Updates plugin for WordPress. This flaw stems from insufficient nonce validation, allowing unauthenticated attackers to disable all auto updates on a WordPress site if they can trick an administrator into clicking a malicious link. Rated 4.3 MEDIUM on CVSS, the vulnerability requires user interaction (UI:R) but has low impact (I:L) as it only affects integrity by disabling updates, not confidentiality or availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, no public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), and minimal community discussion or media coverage, indicating low current threat visibility.
