29
FAUCET Score

CVE-2024-10508 is a critical privilege escalation vulnerability affecting the RegistrationMagic – User Registration Plugin for WordPress, versions up to and including 6.0.2.6. The flaw stems from improper validation of password reset tokens, allowing unauthenticated attackers to reset any user's password, including administrators, and subsequently take over their accounts. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While no public exploit intelligence (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB) or active exploitation has been reported, and community discussion is minimal, the high FAUCET Risk Score of 90/100 indicates significant potential danger.
