CVE-2024-10079 is a PHP Object Injection vulnerability affecting the WP Easy Post Types plugin for WordPress, versions up to and including 1.4.4. This flaw allows authenticated attackers, even those with subscriber-level permissions, to inject PHP objects through untrusted input in the 'text' parameter of the 'ajax_import_content' function. Rated 8.8 HIGH (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H), successful exploitation, if a suitable POP chain exists elsewhere on the system, could lead to arbitrary file deletion, sensitive data retrieval, or remote code execution.
