CVE-2024-0688 describes a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the "WebSub (FKA. PubSubHubbub)" WordPress plugin, affecting all versions up to and including 3.1.4. This flaw, rated Medium severity (CVSS 4.8), allows authenticated administrators to inject malicious web scripts into plugin settings due to insufficient input sanitization. While requiring high privileges and user interaction, successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary script execution when a user accesses an affected page.
