CVE-2023-6533 is a medium-severity vulnerability affecting Silicon Labs Z-Wave PC Controller versions 5.54.0 and earlier. An attacker can send malformed Device Reset Locally Command Class packets, causing the controller to incorrectly believe an end device has left the network. This results in a denial of service, as the controller will no longer acknowledge frames from the affected device. The attack vector is adjacent network, with low attack complexity and no user interaction required. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
