CVE-2023-51652 is a medium-severity mutation Cross-Site Scripting (mXSS) vulnerability affecting OWASP AntiSamy .NET versions prior to 1.2.0. This flaw, rated 6.1 CVSS, allows attackers to execute malicious scripts when the preserveComments directive is enabled and certain tags are allowed in the policy file, due to flawed HTML parsing. While there are workarounds involving policy file modifications, upgrading to version 1.2.0 or later is strongly recommended as the definitive fix. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion.
