CVE-2023-51123 is a critical arbitrary code execution vulnerability affecting D-Link DIR-815 routers running firmware version 1.01SSb08.bin. This flaw allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted POST request to the "service" parameter within the soapcgi_main function of the cgibin component. With a CVSS score of 9.8, the vulnerability poses a severe risk, enabling complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability without user interaction.
