CVE-2023-5038 is an unauthenticated Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability affecting Hanwha Vision cameras, discovered by security researcher badmonkey. An attacker can trigger this flaw by sending a crafted URL, rendering the camera's web management interface inaccessible and requiring a manual restart or power cycle. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low complexity, leading to a complete loss of availability for the management interface.
