CVE-2023-50258 is an unauthenticated blind Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability affecting Medusa, an automatic video library manager for TV shows, in versions prior to 1.0.19. The flaw allows an attacker to craft POST requests from the Medusa server due to improper validation of a user-controlled URL in the discord_webhook parameter. With a CVSS score of 5.3 (Medium), this vulnerability has a low impact on confidentiality and no impact on integrity or availability, requiring no user interaction or privileges.
