CVE-2023-4939 describes a Log Injection vulnerability in the SALESmanago plugin for WordPress, affecting versions up to and including 3.2.4. The vulnerability stems from a weak authentication token used for the /wp-json/salesmanago/v1/callbackApiV3 API endpoint, which can be easily derived from publicly available information. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary content into log files. Rated Medium severity with a CVSS score of 5.3, the attack requires no user interaction and has a low impact on integrity (I:L), but could have significant consequences if combined with other vulnerabilities. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
