CVE-2023-46102 is a critical vulnerability affecting Bosch Rexroth ctrlX HMI Web Panels (WR2107, WR2110, WR2115 series) and their firmware. The Android Client application uses a hard-coded DES symmetric key for MQTT communication, which can be easily retrieved through reverse engineering. This allows an attacker on the same subnet to intercept and send malicious messages to the HMI device, leading to arbitrary command execution. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), the vulnerability has a low attack complexity and requires no user interaction, posing a significant risk for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion, and it is not listed in CISA's KEV catalog.
