CVE-2023-44216

18
FAUCET Score

CVE-2023-44216 is a medium-severity vulnerability affecting Imagination 2018 and later GPU devices, as well as products from AMD, Apple, Canonical, Google, Intel, and Microsoft. It involves a "GPU.zip" issue where the PVRIC compression scheme allows cross-origin pixel-stealing attacks against SVG Filter specifications like feTurbulence and feBlend. This could enable an attacker to infer sensitive information, such as text content, from a different origin. The attack requires high attack complexity and user interaction, but if successful, it leads to high confidentiality impact. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
