This flaw allows an authenticated local attacker, or one bypassing CORS, to delete arbitrary files or folders on the system by sending a crafted HTTP POST request to the /v2/pkgs/tools/installed endpoint. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7.1 (High), indicating a significant impact on integrity and availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
