CVE-2023-43669 is a denial-of-service vulnerability in the Tungstenite Rust crate, affecting versions prior to 0.20.1, as well as various Fedora and Snapview products utilizing it. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this by sending an excessively long HTTP header during a client handshake, leading to significant CPU consumption for minutes. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, potentially causing service disruption. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this CVE.
