CVE-2023-42955 addresses a vulnerability in Claris FileMaker Server where administrator passwords could be inadvertently exposed to front-end websites when logged into the Admin Console. This medium-severity issue (CVSS 4.9) has a high confidentiality impact, allowing an attacker with high privileges to potentially access sensitive password information. Claris has resolved this in FileMaker Server 20.3.1 by preventing the transmission of Admin Role passwords via the Node.js socket.
