CVE-2023-3971 is an HTML injection vulnerability in the Controller component of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Ansible Automation Controller, Ansible Developer, Ansible Inside, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This flaw allows an authenticated attacker to inject malicious HTML into the user interface settings, enabling the creation of a custom login page to capture user credentials. Rated Medium severity (CVSS 5.4), it requires user interaction and low privileges but can lead to a complete compromise of confidentiality and integrity.
